    last weekend, at the
state fair, a man flew from a
    cannon 60 feet

    into the air, a
    blind milk-goating contest was
    championed by a

    fourteen year old girl,
    i briefly exchanged smiles with
    george jones before he

    lit a cigar, tipped
his hat and walked on stage,
    then felt my stomach

    criss-cross on the tilt-
    a-whirl, which caused my funnel
    cake to rise from my

    stomach, in a slush
    of fried sugar, just barely
    missing the trash can
